Bavaria Downs is an absolutely extraordinary wedding venue.  With its European charm, this private estate, tucked into the rolling hills of Chaska, was the perfect, romantic setting to host Rachel and Jake’s incredible wedding day.  Having experienced both France and Germany together, along with New York City, Seattle, and Washington DC stateside, these two have a passion for discovering sensational beauty as they adventure together.  Of all the world, Minnesota is home, and the two fell in love while exploring Minneapolis, hiking together, and logging long hours of conversation while getting to know one another.  Their love for each other is just beautiful and we couldn’t wait to celebrate their love story alongside their wonderful family and friends.  

The morning began in the Edward Anne Estate’s bridal suite while capturing Rachel’s exquisite details as she finished up hair with 139 Hair by Heidi and makeup with Miranda Xiong.  They, as well as Hannah and the team from Bavaria Downs were absolutely incredible to work with!  Rachel’s mom helped her into her unbelievably breathtaking gown by Sottero & Midgley from the Wedding Shoppe. Bellagala put together the stunning florals that paired perfectly with Rachel’s classic and timeless dress.

Following Rachel’s sweet first looks with her father and Jake, portraits began and we explored the beauty of the venue and grounds.  Soon after, the wedding party joined us.  The bridesmaids looked amazing in their dresses by Kennedy Blue and the men in their suits from Men’s Wearhouse.  We finished with family photos just before guests arrived.  The golden hour ceremony concluded at sunset and guests transitioned to the ballroom where they enjoyed speeches and dinner by D’Amico Catering.  The evening ended with dancing hosted by Steven Ly, and romantic night portraits among the lights.  Rachel and Jake, it was an absolute pleasure capturing your unforgettable wedding day!  We wish you all the best as you continue adventuring together as husband and wife!
