You never know when or where you will meet the love of your life!  It was Emily’s first day of work at a new office when she met Preston.  Little did they know, their friendship would grow from coworkers to falling head-over-heals in love.  Following Emily’s last CPA exam, Preston asked her on a date to celebrate at a drive-in-movie theater with Emily’s pup, Lucy.  Their adventure had officially begun!  When Emily moved back to Eau Claire, Preston soon followed and a new pup, Kaia, joined their team.  A few months later, Kaia and Lucy accompanied Preston and Emily on a hike at Devil’s Lake State Park. After climbing up to overlook the lake, Preston dropped to one knee and asked Emily to be his wife!  The wedding day countdown and planning began!

Dixon’s Apple Orchard in Cadott Wisconsin was the perfect location for their wedding!  Despite a bit of drizzle throughout the day, the rolling hills and fields of apple trees provided the most romantic setting to capture Emily and Preston’s sweet love for each other.  We had a blast taking photos together with their family and friends!  Emily looked amazing in her Stella York gown from Raffine Bridal and Preston in his suit by Indochino. 

Soon after portraits, guests arrived and enjoyed hayrides out to the breathtaking ceremony site among the tall trees.  Emily arrived by horse-drawn carriage and the ceremony began.  It was such an honor to work alongside the incredibly talented Story of Us Films as we documented the day.  We can’t wait to see the emotion they captured! Emily and Preston’s incredible day ended with dinner by Boyd Catering, custom cookies and Olson’s Ice Cream, dancing with All Occasions DJ Service, and a sparkler send off!  We could not be happier for them as they head off to celebrate as newlyweds in Hawaii!
