We absolutely love photographing destination engagement sessions in Southwest Florida, and meeting couples who are visiting from all over the country is always so much fun!  Kallie and Jake had travelled down from Pennsylvania for their session, and we are so honored to have been able to document this sweet season of life for them!

We met for their session at Tarpon Point Marina in Cape Coral on yet another stunning evening surrounded by yachts that created the perfect nautical backdrop for portraits.  Kallie’s dress was gorgeous, and the tones and colors of their outfits coordinated beautifully with the setting!  As we explored, we had the best time getting to hear their story. These two met in college at the University of Pittsburgh and love spending time in the great outdoors whether it be fishing or skiing together.  It didn’t take long to know that they had found the one, and they are now planning their wedding for next spring.

As the sun began to dip lower in the sky, we made our way to the Cape Coral Yacht Club to finish up at the beach.  The golden hour light was pure magic, and we strolled along the shore, capturing candids as they soaked up their last evening in Florida.  They had flown down for a work trip at the JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort, and their session was the perfect way to wrap up their stay!  We ended the night capturing portraits among the palm trees, silhouetting them against the final rays of light.  It was such a romantic, peaceful, and beautiful way to reflect this exciting season of their lives.  We are so happy for these two as they continue to plan their dream wedding and are so grateful to have captured this chapter of their love story!
