There is something incredibly special about photographing families year after year, and we were beyond excited to connect with Megan’s family again on Fort Myers Beach! It feels like just yesterday that we met for their previous session in Cape Coral, and we can hardly believe how much their boys have grown!  Now two and four years old, the boys are full of curiosity and sweet energy. It was so much fun capturing their giggles as they ran and explored together.

We met at Bowditch Point Park for their session, and the evening was absolutely gorgeous with glowing golden hour light and one of those dreamy sunsets that seem to stretch on forever.  As the sun dipped lower, the sky softened into pink and purple pastels, wrapping everyone in the kind of light that’s straight out of a photographer’s dream.  The whole family looked amazing, and once again, their outfits were absolute perfection.  Their colors and textures paired perfectly with the setting, and their neutral tones and subtle textures created a timeless feel to the images that will look just as beautiful decades from now as they do today.

Far beyond the breathtaking tones and scenery, what made this session truly meaningful was the privilege of documenting another chapter in this family’s story. Watching Megan and her husband laugh with their boys, scoop them into sandy hugs, and soak in this season of life was such a sweet reminder of why we love what we do.  Being trusted to preserve these memories of sandy toes, and holding tiny hands while strolling the stunning shoreline of SW Florida is something we will never take for granted.  Megan, it was a complete joy to photograph your beautiful family again!  Soak in this sweet season with your boys – it is truly a treasure!
