Photographing destination engagement sessions on the beaches of Southwest Florida has been a complete dream come true, and Elana and Gerald’s session at Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park was nothing short of magical.  Escaping the cold weather back home, they flew down to Florida, grateful for warmer temps. and sunshine.  It was their first time in Naples, and we were so excited for them to experience the beauty of the Gulf Coast! 

We still remember our first visit to Delnor-Wiggins Pass State Park and could have never imagined we would be documenting engagement sessions on its shoreline now over a decade later. From the moment we arrived and stepped out onto the sand, the evening felt effortless.  After capturing a few photos surrounded by the trees, we set off to explore the beach. Golden hour was absolute perfection, creating a dreamy backdrop for portraits, and these two looked amazing in their soft, neutral tones.  Elana’s outfits were perfect for the setting!  Her white lace dress felt timeless and romantic, while her yellow floral dress added a gorgeous pop of color that fit the scene beautifully!  We loved that she tied in colors from their wedding day, making the session feel even more personal and meaningful.

We had the best time chatting and getting to know these two throughout the evening.  Their story is one of those “meant to be” moments as Elana first met Gerald as her dentist!  The two fell in love, Gerald proposed in the fall, and their excitement for their big day is contagious!  We can’t wait to capture their wedding at the Cathedral of Our Lady of the Rosary, followed by their celebration at the incredible Greysolon Ballroom.  We absolutely loved these two, and are so honored to document the next chapter of their story in Duluth this summer!
