We are beyond excited to be back in Florida and can’t think of a better way to kick off our season in the south than with Chelsey’s beautiful family!  They are the most genuine and kind families ever, and we had the honor of capturing a few senior portraits for their oldest son last year.  When they reached out to book another session to celebrate 50 years of marriage for their parents, we were thrilled!  When families return for photos year after year, it feels less like a session and more like spending time with friends.

After meeting on an absolutely gorgeous evening at one our favorite locations in Cape Coral, we set off to explore together. We began near the marina, where the boats surrounded by golden hour light created the most dreamy backdrop for portraits.  With a mix of coastal charm and classic Florida beauty, it was the perfect setting to document the connection between grandparents, their children, and their grandchildren.  As the evening went on, we made our way to the trees.  With sunlight streaming through the lush green palms, we had the best time capturing portraits of everyone’s beautiful smiles. The entire session was filled with fun conversation and so many genuine moments that remind us of why we love documenting families, and celebrating a 50th wedding anniversary was just icing on the cake!

We’re so grateful to have been able to serve Chelsey’s extended family for such a meaningful milestone.  It was a sweet reminder that what we do isn’t just about creating breathtaking images—it’s about preserving connection, legacy, and love across generations.  Sessions like these are why we do what we do, and we can’t wait to continue capturing many more couples and families as they spend time together in sunny, Southwest Florida.
