Allison and Caleb are the sweetest couple ever, and we could hardly wait for their fall engagement session in Taylors Falls! We met on an absolutely gorgeous day, which was unseasonably warm for November, and set off for the incredible rock cliffs overlooking the St. Croix River.  Golden hour was complete perfection. The warm light wrapped around the river bluffs, creating a breathtaking backdrop for portraits. Allison and Caleb seemed to glow, soaking up every second of this short but sweet season of life as fiancés. The entire evening was filled with laughter, and capturing their love for each other was truly such a joy!

Getting to know these two has been so much fun! Even though they grew up close to one another, they didn’t really connect until college, where they enjoy spending time studying and hiking together. It didn’t take long before they realized they had found “the one,” and Caleb proposed beside the lake up at the North Shore. They celebrated afterwards with family and close friends, and we’ve loved hearing how their wedding plans have been coming together ever since. Allison had actually just found her dress at The Wedding Shoppe the day before their session, which made capturing their excitement for this season even more special!

These two will tie the knot at the beautiful Bloom Lake Barn in Shafer, and we are already counting down the days until we get to celebrate with them alongside their family and friends! As we finished out the session, Allison and Caleb headed out for a steak and pasta dinner date at one of our favorite spots, the Watershed Café in Osceola. We could not be happier for them as they enjoy this exciting season together, and we can’t wait to continue documenting their love story next summer!
