As we wrap up our fall engagement session season, and head into the holidays, we can’t help but reflect on how thankful we are for what we get to do!  Photographing love stories – from engagements, to weddings, and eventually to family portraits – has been an incredible honor over the past 15 years.  We are so grateful for each of our couples and truly serve the best of the best!  We are beyond excited for our upcoming weddings in the coming year, and we can’t wait to celebrate with Lindsey and Nick next fall! 

From the moment these two reached out to book their wedding, we have been so excited for their engagement session.  We have had one of the warmest fall seasons that we can remember, and we were thrilled that the mild weather has extended into November so that we could squeeze in a few more sessions before the temps begin to drop.  We knew that Andover would be the perfect place for their session, with its warm tones in the oak trees and its vibrant greens among the pine forest, and we had the best time exploring the fields and forest together for portraits. 

For couples planning their engagement session, I always recommend considering locations with a variety of backdrops, whether they be an urban or a more natural setting.  No matter the season, pine trees provide gorgeous texture, and year-round color – perfect for late autumn when the leaves begins to fade.  Pairing neutral outfits with the forest’s rich tones creates a timeless palette that always photographs beautifully, and Lindsey and Nick’s colors could not have been more perfect for the setting!  We had the best time with these two, and can’t wait to be a part of documenting their fall wedding at Woods & Co.
