There is something incredibly special about photographing sessions for couples and families we’ve had the privilege of serving over many years.  We can hardly believe it was six years ago that we met Trisha and Tim for their golden hour engagement session in Minneapolis.  A few months later, we had the honor of documenting their breathtaking wedding at A’BULAE in St. Paul.  Since then, they’ve added two absolutely adorable kids to their family, and we were overjoyed to be able to capture their portraits!

We met in Andover on a beautiful fall evening, which also just so happened to be their sixth wedding anniversary!  It felt like such a full-circle moment, and once again, their session was complete perfection from start to finish.  The kids did an absolutely incredible job for photos!  Their son was full of sweet personality, smiling from ear to ear, and a total pro in front of the camera.  Their daughter was as precious as can be, and her adorable expressions will melt your heart in every frame.  The whole family made this session effortless as they explored, cuddled, and simply just enjoyed time together.  Their outfits were perfect for the setting and the season.  Their soft earth tones, textured layers, and subtle pops of color tied everything together perfectly with the natural backdrops. 

We finished out the session feeling incredibly grateful; not just for the opportunity to photograph this beautiful family, but also for the trust we’ve built with our couples over the years.  It is always an honor to capture their most precious memories.  Preserving those moments for years to come is truly such a gift, and from Trisha and Tim’s engagement session, to their fall wedding, and now to documenting their family, it’s been an absolute joy to follow along with their journey!
