Fall is such a dreamy season for Senior sessions, and we are all-in on capturing these exciting milestones of life!  We met Kaitlyn and her parents in Ham Lake on an absolutely gorgeous evening and set off to explore together.  We started out under our favorite willow tree, with its branches swaying gently in the breeze. The sunlight filtered through the leaves, creating a soft glow that was simply stunning.  Kaitlyn’s outfits could not have been more perfect for the setting and the season!  Every color complemented the natural warmth of the evening, and the textures were ideal for fall!  

Kaitlyn’s session encompassed everything we love about capturing portraits – golden light streaming through willow trees, vibrant glowing fields of tall grass, and a Senior who brought effortless confidence and sweet beauty to every image!  As we finished up under the willows, we couldn’t help but think back to when we photographed Kaitlyn’s older sister’s senior portraits last summer. Seeing the similarities — and yet also the unique personality of each sister — is one of our favorite parts of what we do.  It’s always such an honor when families reach out to book multiple sessions over the years!

As the sun began to set, we headed to a nearby field and captured portraits surrounded by a perfect golden glow.  We finished out the evening with a few Taylor Swift inspired photos in the grass which felt like such a sweet nod to Kaitlyn’s favorite musician.  This session was the perfect reminder of why we love photographing Seniors and capturing each one’s unique beauty in such an exciting season of life.  We are incredibly grateful to have been able to document a few of this family’s most special milestones, and we are so excited for them as they anticipate the many adventures ahead!
