Fall engagement sessions are in full swing, and we are so grateful to continue to connect with so many amazing couples! From the moment Brenna and Ryan reached out to book their wedding, we could hardly wait to meet up on St. Anthony Main in Minneapolis for their session! When the day finally arrived, we kept a close eye on the weather. After a full day of rain, the skies cleared just in time, leaving us with quiet, cleared out streets that felt like our very own private oasis along the Mississippi River. The light was soft and dreamy, and couldn’t have been more perfect for portraits!
Brenna and Ryan had flown all the way from Washington, D.C. for their session, and exploring some of our favorite spots in the city with them was so much fun! Every single setting, including the Machine Shop, the skyline over the river, and the cobblestone streets provided a wide variety of gorgeous backdrops. These two looked incredible, and the colors of their outfits paired perfectly with the location! As we walked together, we chatted, and we’ve loved getting to hear how they met, fell in love, and got engaged on the beach in Duluth this past spring.
We closed out the evening on the Stone Arch Bridge as the sun broke through the clouds, wrapping the city skyline in a warm golden glow. Brenna and Ryan’s laughter and sweet connection as they explored the bridge together made photographing them an absolute dream, and we are already counting down the days until their wedding! The two will host their family and friends at the historic Church of the Assumption in St. Paul, followed by a reception at the Landmark Center, and we are beyond excited to be a part of documenting their big day!
