When we arrived for Carol and Aiden’s engagement session at the Machine Shop in Minneapolis, and saw that the hydrangeas were still in full bloom, we knew it would be a stunning evening for photos!  The golden hour glow was nothing short of perfection, streaming through the vibrant green trees, and these two looked amazing as they strolled down St. Anthony Main together.  Their outfits could not have been more perfect for the setting, and we adored Carol’s gorgeous white dress with the bow!  When we learned that their second date was at Aster Cafe, we were excited to capture a few photos with its iconic brick storefront as well.  We absolutely love the cobblestone vibe of this area which always creates the most dreamy backdrop for portraits.

As we walked we chatted, and it’s been so great getting to know these two before their big day!  They both enjoy spending time with their sweet puppy, who had come along for a few portraits, keeping up with the Vikings, and staying fit.  Not only is Aiden incredibly kind, but he’s also a total champ when it comes to running!  He just completed the 23 mile mark in his training schedule, and is looking forward to successfully completing his second marathon soon.  

As we wrapped up the evening, Carol and Aiden headed out for date night drinks at The Cabana Club.  Carol shared the sweetest words the next morning when she received her sneak peeks: “Wow!!! Thank you so much for these – they made our day. Yesterday was very fun and we look forward to our wedding with you as well.”  She and Aiden will tie the knot next summer at the incredible La Pointe Events in Somerset, WI, and we are already counting down the days until their big day!
