Our summer engagement session season is off to an amazing start, and we have been so excited to get back to Taylors Falls for more sessions!  With the St. Croix Valley’s epic rock cliffs and scenic views at every turn, it is always a breathtaking place for portraits, and we knew it would be perfect for Shelby and Josh’s session.  They love soaking up time in the great outdoors together, especially while hunting and fishing.  We had the best time chatting as we explored throughout the evening, and it was so much fun to get to know these two!  We learned that they share our love of Duluth, and even though it’s been a while since we’ve travelled that far north, we are really looking forward to visiting again for the Airshow in a few weeks.

One of our favorite things to learn from our couples is how they met, and we absolutely love Josh and Shelby’s story.  They are coworkers and actually met during Josh’s safety orientation at his very first job out of college.  He was smitten from the start!  After spending some time together as friends, Shelby scoured the 200 page employee handbook to see if she could date her coworker.  She finally gave Josh the go-ahead, and their love story officially began in the fall.  Josh eventually proposed, and of course, Shelby said yes!  We could not be happier for these two as they plan their big day!  

They will host their wedding at Woods and Co. in Wisconsin and we can’t wait to celebrate with them alongside their family and friends.  Surrounded by the breathtaking rock cliffs and forests of Pepin, their venue is the perfect combination of nature meets modern luxury, and we have no doubt that their summer day will be stunning!
