There is something simply magical about spring evenings in Minneapolis. The city seems to come alive with a soft golden glow, and we love how the brick architecture, pop of green trees, and the sparkling lights along St. Anthony Main create the most romantic setting for portraits.  We knew it would be the perfect place for Lindsey and Tyler’s engagement session, and we were so excited to document this sweet season for them!

After meeting on a gorgeous warm evening, we set off to explore our favorite areas of the city together.  We began by the Machine Shop and captured a few photos in the streets, before heading out to catch the sunset with the skyline.  Golden hour was literally perfection, and with the area’s iconic architecture and natural beauty, every single moment felt as though we were in a dream.  Lindsey and Tyler looked absolutely amazing in both of their outfits and completely rocked their session! Their joy was contagious, and their love for each other was so much fun to capture! They walked hand-in-hand along the cobblestone streets, laughing and chatting, and we had the best time getting to know them.

These two are completely perfect for each other!  Lindsey is a nurse, Tyler is an engineer, and both enjoy spending time exploring the outdoors with their dog, Riggins.  They brought Riggins along for photos, and it was so sweet hearing how he was a part of both their first date and their proposal at the Lake of the Isles.  We were thrilled to be able to incorporate puppy portraits into their engagement session as well!  As the evening came to a close, we chatted a bit about wedding plans and can’t wait to be a part of their big day at Hyland Hills in Bloomington next summer!
