Spring portrait sessions in Minnesota are off to an amazing start, and we couldn’t be more grateful to be able to photograph families surrounded by the beauty of seasons in two states!  We were so excited for the trees to bloom, and they did not disappoint.  It seemed as though they appeared overnight – just in time for spring sessions!  We have known Ashley for years, and when she reached out for family photos with the blossoms, we couldn’t wait to connect!  We met on a gorgeous warm evening and set off to explore Stillwater, MN together.  Having scoured the area for the perfect trees ahead of time, we jumped right in on capturing photos surrounded by breathtaking blossoms.  We had so much fun chatting and catching up that the evening flew by in a blink!

It seems as if it were just yesterday that we were photographing Ashley’s first portrait session when she and her husband had only their son.  Two years ago we captured their family again and had the best time getting to know their sweet daughter as well.  Once again, both kids did a fantastic job, making this year’s session a dream to capture.  With their mom as a photographer, they likely have had plenty of opportunities to smile for the camera, and they pulled off the sweetest giggles and grins as we explored together. We are always so honored to be asked to capture life’s most precious memories for those who work in our industry.

Documenting the short season of life with little ones is something we will never take for granted!  We are so excited for Ashley’s family to continue soaking up all the beauty that spring and summer in Minnesota brings, and we can’t wait to connect with them again in the years ahead!
