The Gasparilla Inn and Beach Club in Boca Grande is about as dreamy as it gets when it comes to combining Old Florida charm with an exquisite beach-side resort.  Its grounds are absolutely breathtaking and are the perfect place to experience Florida at its finest.  Whether it be for a wedding or for a destination family session, photographing at the Inn and Club have been an absolute honor.  We are incredibly grateful to have both began and finished out our season in the south this year at this stunning slice of heaven here on earth!

We met Alex and her family for their portrait session on a beautiful warm evening and set off to explore the grounds together.  There is certainly no shortage of picturesque backdrops, and we loved being able to capture Alex’s adorable son with his parents and grandparents surrounded by the beauty of the Inn.  His cute little smile and love for his grandparents were so sweet!  We chatted throughout the session, and it was so fun getting to hear more about their vacation plans.  

It was their first time staying at the Gasparilla Inn, and after spending time in Southwest Florida, they were going to head north to Disney World.  Alex is a huge Disney fan, and we learned that she and her husband had even gotten engaged there!  There is nothing better than a proposal that ends in a happily-ever-after love story, and it will be so special to visit again with their son!  They planned to take him to the Harmony Barber Shop for his very first haircut, and we couldn’t be more excited for them to experience such a sweet milestone!  We know how magical Disney World is, and we hope that their time is filled with incredible moments of making memories together!
