There is something simply magical about sunrise sessions on the beach.  Not only are the beaches quiet, peaceful, and serene, but the morning light provides a gorgeous pastel pink and blue backdrop for portraits.  One of our favorite locations for sunrise is near the Pink Shell Resort at Bowditch Point Park, and when Shelby requested a session on Fort Myers Beach, we were thrilled!  We were beyond excited to connect with her family, and we couldn’t have had a more beautiful morning for portraits!  

The sun had just begun to peek over the horizon as we met, creating the most dreamy soft glow across the sand.  The light was nothing short of perfection as we set off to explore the beach together, and Shelby’s family was so much fun to work with!  Everyone did such an amazing job for photos, and the kids were absolutely adorable!  They had the sweetest smiles as they ran along the shore, discovering all of the pink seaweed and shells.  We had the best time chatting throughout the session, and as we watched the Key West Express sail by, we talked a bit about their fishing plans and the Florida Keys.  

Documenting vacations is one of our favorite things to do, and we couldn’t be more excited for Shelby’s family to enjoy their time away!  They had traveled from Indiana on spring break, and we were so happy that they could all be together to soak up the stunning weather in the sunshine state.  Not only that, but we found out they were also celebrating a birthday!  It was such a joy to capture this beautiful family’s memories and milestones as they spend time in Florida.  We are truly honored to continue photographing destination sessions on some of the most breathtaking beaches in Southwest Florida!
