When Sarah and Denny chose to schedule their destination engagement session at sunrise, we were thrilled!  It’s no secret that we absolutely love sunrise sessions, and Naples Beach and pier is one of our favorite places for them.  Photographing portraits on a calm, nearly private beach in the quietness of the morning is always such a dream, and we can’t get enough of capturing portraits surrounded by the soft pink and blue hues of the water and sky.

We met Sarah and Denny on a breathtaking morning and set off to explore the beach together.  The water was calm, their outfits were amazing, and we had the best time taking portraits along the shore!  We finished up under the pier, and then headed to the streets as the sun began to rise.  It was so much fun getting to know these two and hearing more about their love story!  Denny was golfing with a friend who ended up sharing Sarah’s name with him knowing that the two would be perfect together.  It turns out they are a match made in heaven, and despite Denny accidentally spilling his drink on Sarah while on a date in the North Loop, she was smitten and knew they were meant to be!

Denny popped the question just before Thanksgiving, and their sweet puppy was even in on the plan!  Of course Sarah said yes, and the wedding planning began. These two will host their family and friends for their wedding at the Yacht Club in White Bear Lake this coming summer, and we have no doubt their day will be nothing short of perfection.  It was such an honor documenting this season of life as fiancés for them, and we could not be more excited for them as they plan their dream wedding day!
