Grace River Island Resort in Fort Myers was the perfect location to host Erin and John’s intimate destination wedding!  Not only is the island an amazing place to gather for a getaway, its ceremony site overlooking the water provides an absolutely stunning setting to say “I Do!” Family and friends had traveled to Florida to celebrate together while spending a few days soaking up some sunshine.

Erin and John’s big day began in the bridal suite as Erin prepared with Irene and Viktoryia of Invite Bride on hair and makeup.  She put on her gorgeous gown and shoes and stepped out onto the balcony to share a few sweet words with John before he would see her as she walked down the aisle.  His reaction was priceless when he locked eyes with Erin as she entered to music by Elijah the Violinist.  The two exchanged beautiful vows before their family and friends and exited all-smiles as the newest Mr. And Mrs.!

Following the ceremony, we set off to explore the island for portraits.  The venue boasts endless breathtaking backdrops, and we captured photos surrounded by hanging Spanish moss in the banyan trees.  We finished up among the palms along the brick road before returning for family portraits followed by hors d’oeuvres. The reception space looked incredible, and we documented the details including arrangements by Zoe of Signature Florals and decor from Exclusive Affair Party Rentals.  Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner from Tuscany Italian Market and cake by Amanda of Save Room for Dessert.  Golden hour was nothing short of perfection, and we stepped away for a few sunset photos just before dinner.  Erin and John, you and your families were truly a delight to serve, and we were incredibly honored to have been a part of your beautiful wedding day!
