We could not be more thrilled to kick off a new year in the beautiful sunny state of Florida!  Our destination portrait session season is off to an amazing start, and we were so excited to connect with Julia and her family in Southwest Florida for their family portrait session.  We knew that Lowdermilk Park would be the perfect place to capture their photos, and we met on an absolutely gorgeous evening in Naples.

When Julia requested to book her session, we couldn’t wait to meet!  She had originally reached out back in 2019 to inquire about her wedding at the Hutton House, and unfortunately, we were already booked for her date.  We were so grateful when she circled back with us after she and her husband had welcomed their adorable daughter into their family and were so happy to be able to document this sweet season of life for them!  Julia had gifted this session to her parents, and what an honor it was to be a part of their time together in Florida.  We couldn’t think of a better way to spend a maternity leave than by soaking up some beach time and blue skies in the sunshine state!

We had the best time exploring the beach together, taking portraits among the tiki huts and palm trees.  The warmer temps and picture-perfect sunset were simply magical, making this session so much fun to capture!  Not only that, but Julia’s family was incredibly kind and an absolute delight to serve, making our “job” seem nothing like work at all.  Not for a moment do we take for granted what we are able to do. Serving couples and families out of two states has been a complete dream come true, and we are beyond excited for all that is to come!
