Leopold’s Mississippi Gardens was the perfect place to host Sarah and Matt’s gorgeous fall wedding!  These two are so sweet and have shared many adventures together since their first date last winter, from exploring Minneapolis and Duluth, to traveling to the Dominican Republic, enjoying music and ice cream along the way.  After a year of dating, Matt proposed, and of course Sarah said yes!  When we connected for their engagement session this past spring, we knew their wedding would be absolutely beautiful!

Their big day had finally arrived, and Jamie and her team did a wonderful job of ensuring every detail was nothing short of perfection.  The ladies prepared for the day at Evry Makeup Studio, with Joyful Hair Co. and Maggie J. Makeup.  We began by documenting a few details before Sarah put on her gorgeous gown from Vow’d and stepped outside to meet her groom.  The two shared a sweet first look, and we explored the grounds for portraits together.  The wedding party joined us for photos, and the ladies looked amazing in their velvet dresses with breathtaking bouquets by Artemisia Floral Studio. We finished up with family photos followed by a private vow exchange before guests began to arrive.  

Friends and family gathered for a beautiful outdoor ceremony overlooking the river, and cheered as the newlyweds exited.  Guests mingled throughout cocktail hour, and we captured a few golden hour portraits before heading in for the reception.  The space looked incredible, and everyone enjoyed dinner from Mintahoe Catering, speeches, and delicious desserts.  Matt of Instant Request DJ Entertainment hosted the dance party including the Hora to end the night.  Sarah and Matt, it was a complete joy to be a part of your big day, and we wish you all the very best in all the seasons ahead!
