It was an absolutely gorgeous fall evening when we met Olivia and Tony in Taylors Falls for their engagement session. These two drove over two hours to get to the St. Croix Valley, and it couldn’t have been a more perfect setting for their session! These two are so friendly, kind, and easy to talk to, and it was so much fun to connect with them again!
We actually first met at Olivia’s sister’s wedding. Little did we know at the time, but Tony was planning his proposal and ended up asking Olivia’s father for her hand in marriage just one week later. He popped the question at Five West in Rochester, the same restaurant that they had their very sweet and memorable first date. He told Olivia that they were going to enjoy a special Christmas dinner, and when word got out among friends, a few gathered outside to watch through the restaurant window. Of course Olivia said yes, and the wedding planning began!
We were beyond honored when they contacted us before even choosing their venue and date! Olivia shared the sweetest words when she reached out to book their big day: “I absolutely loved your photos from my sister’s wedding back in December. I love your natural lighting and softness of each of your photos and was very impressed with Shane’s ability to keep us on schedule and knowing what kind of photos to take and when we should take them. I am definitely a schedule queen!” We have no doubt Olivia and Tony’s dream day will be incredible from start to finish, and we are so excited to capture every single detail! They will tie the knot at the beautiful Woodhaven Weddings & Events in Cannon Falls, and we can’t wait to celebrate with them next fall!
