We are absolutely loving this dreamy September weather, and photographing sessions on such gorgeous warm evenings has been the perfect way to kick off our fall season.  We were so excited to capture Therese and Jacques’ engagement session at William O’Brien State Park in Marine on St. Croix.  From the moment we met, golden hour was simply stunning, and as the sun began to set through the trees, a soft glow seemed to glitter through the tall grass as we walked.  These two looked amazing in both of their outfits, and it was so much fun capturing their sweet love for each other! We had the best time exploring the fields together, and have loved getting to learn more about Therese and Jacques’ story!

These two met through a mutual friend and after only one day of hanging out, Jacques knew there was something special about Therese.  He didn’t waste any time before asking her out, and he arrived for their first official dinner date dressed to the nines and with flowers for Therese. Jacques was completely smitten over her beautiful smile and sweet personality and knew she was the one.  As they began to spend more time together, whether laughing the night away while bowling, or star gazing and talking for hours, the two quickly fell in love.  It was on a very meaningful, adventurous, and memorable trip to LaCrosse, Wisconsin that Jacques proposed, and the wedding planning began!

We could not be more excited for these two as they plan their big day!  They will host their family and friends at the Church of St. Michael in Farmington and will celebrate afterwards at the Lafayette Club in Minnetonka Beach.  We are already counting down the days until next summer when we can continue documenting their beautiful love story!
