It couldn’t have been a more breathtaking evening in downtown Stillwater for Allison and Chris’ engagement session!  We can’t get enough of this area and love the variety in backdrops with both the waterfront and brick buildings.  We also adore all of the hanging ivy which always makes for a stunning backdrop for portraits.  These two looked amazing, and their colors coordinated perfectly with every single setting!

We had the best time exploring the streets together, and it was so much fun getting to know these two more.  They met online, fell in love, and just two days after purchasing Allison’s ring, Chris popped the question while they were out to eat.  They enjoy spending time with family, and often visit those living in Arizona.  Having recently travelled to the Grand Canyon ourselves, we can certainly understand why!  The scenery of the entire state is unique and absolutely beautiful!  Allison and Chris stay busy serving others as a nurse and through the Army Reserve, and are two of the kindest people you will meet.

We were completely blown away by Allison’s kind words when she reached out to book her wedding: “Photography is the most important investment for us for our wedding. I have followed you on facebook for a while and I am very interested in your work. My date is flexible based on your availability and you are the first vendor I have contacted since getting engaged Saturday. I would absolutely love to work with you.”  These two will tie the knot at Northern Stacks Events in Fridley, and we could not be happier for them as they plan their big day!  It is truly such an honor to be part of capturing their story, and we can’t wait to celebrate with them alongside their family and friends next summer!
