Photographing engagement sessions in the summer in Minnesota is about as dreamy as it gets. Sunshine streaming through the trees, warm golden-hour light lasting into the late evening hours, and the sweet aroma of wild flowers in the fields definitely make for a stunning setting for portraits. Bailey and Tyler were hoping for a natural location for their engagement photos, and we knew William O’Brien State Park in Marine on St. Croix would be the perfect place. We met on a breathtaking evening, and these two looked absolutely amazing! Their playfulness and the chemistry they share made this session a complete dream to photograph!
Bailey and Tyler are incredibly friendly, genuine, kind, and absolutely perfect together! We had a blast as we chatted and explored the fields for portraits, and we laughed throughout the entire evening! Tyler works in real estate and Bailey is a teacher. She just finished up her first year teaching kindergarten and loved it! The two enjoy spending time outdoors together along with their dog Maverick. They planned to go out for ice cream after the session, and we couldn’t be more excited for them as they soak up their summer together as fiancés.
It has been so much fun getting to know these two as they plan their big day, and we are so honored to be a part of capturing this season of their lives! They will be getting married at one of our favorite places: The Edward Anne Estate at Bavaria Downs in Chaska. The venue and its grounds are gorgeous, and we have no doubt their summer wedding will be breathtaking surrounded by the beauty of the estate. We have less than one year to wait and are already counting down the days until we can continue documenting their sweet love story!
