We are officially back up north and beyond excited for our spring engagement sessions and weddings!  Kristen and Matt’s session was the perfect way to kick off our Minnesota season, and we were so thankful for the gorgeous warm weather and stunning blossoms as we explored Minneapolis together.  Engagement sessions are always so much fun to photograph – capturing the joy-filled anticipation as couples plan their big day is truly such a gift!  

Whether it be photographing with the spring blooms, on a warm summer evening at the lake, surrounded by breathtaking fall colors, or on a cozy snowy winter afternoon, we LOVE the unique variety in all of our sessions in Minnesota. Kristen and Matt knew they wanted a mixture of urban and natural backdrops for their engagement photos, and Boom Island was the ideal location!  The park is beautiful year-round, but we think spring is especially magical with the blossoms of the trees popping against the bright blue sunny sky.  Every single element of Kristen and Matt’s session was incredible, and we loved the way both of their outfits coordinated with every backdrop.

Kristen and Matt are so sweet and absolutely perfect together.  Kristen is a nurse and Matt is in sales, and from the moment they reached out to book their wedding, they have been incredibly kind!  We couldn’t wait to connect with them and were so thankful when we learned that they had received our name from a friend and coworker who is also another one of our upcoming brides!  These two will host their big day at their dream venue – The Hutton House in Medicine Lake, and we are beyond excited to be a part of documenting their day!  We are already counting down the days until we get to celebrate alongside their family and friends!
