Destination weddings are an absolutely breathtaking way to tie the knot, and there is no better time to escape the cold Midwest weather than during the winter and spring seasons!  Traveling with your closest friends and family to celebrate together surrounded by paradise is always so exciting.  The intimacy of these events is incredibly special, and it has been such an honor to be a part of capturing so many stunning weddings in sunny, Southwest Florida!

When Vowed to You reached out to see if we were available for Dana and Alex’s wedding at Grace River Island Resort, we were thrilled!  Not only is the resort one of our favorite venues in Fort Myers, we were also excited to serve alongside Lexi at yet another beautiful destination wedding!  The warm, sunny weather was perfect for Dana and Alex’s big day, and we couldn’t wait to begin.  The ladies had just finished up hair and make up with Unbreakable Beauty, and Dana put on her breathtaking floral gown before heading out to meet her groom.  Alex had the sweetest reaction to seeing his bride, and we set off to explore the island for portraits together.  The wedding party joined us for photos followed by their families before the ceremony began.

Guests gathered for a beautiful waterfront ceremony officiated by Lhegendary Weddings and Rabbi Michael Raab.  Dana and Alex exchanged vows and were all-smiles as they exited as the newest Mr. and Mrs.!  We captured a few portraits of the newlyweds before joining social hour followed by the reception.  The space looked amazing with decor by Plithos Event Rentals and gorgeous bright flowers by West & Rock Designs.  Everyone enjoyed dinner from Savour First Choice Catering, speeches, and dessert by Lady Cakes Bakery.  Curate Entertainment hosted the dance party to close out this absolute dream wedding day!
