From the minute we arrived at the Tween Waters Island Resort for Ashley and Grant’s romantic beach elopement, we completely fell in love.  Not only was the resort the perfect place for their intimate vow ceremony, but its grounds and breathtaking beaches provided endless stunning backdrops for portraits!  The resort described the setting best as “Perfectly nestled between our pristine, private Gulf of Mexico beaches and the natural beauty of Pine Island Sound, ‘Tween Waters Island Resort & Spa uniquely combines historic charm, luxury amenities, pure relaxation, and adventurous recreation in the best Captiva Island vacation destination.”  We can’t think of a more incredible location to tie the knot!

When Ashley and Grant reached out to book an extended session for their elopement, we were beyond excited to connect with them!  They truly are the sweetest couple, and it was such an honor to be a part of documenting their day alongside iHeart Films!  The islands of Sanibel and Captiva hold a very special place in their hearts, and we couldn’t have imagined a more fitting location to get married than on the beaches that they have visited for many years.

The evening of their ceremony was absolutely gorgeous, and Ashley was all smiles as she made her way out onto Captiva Beach to meet Grant.  The tears began as he turned to see his lovely bride, and the two exchanged vows surrounded by palm trees and a bright blue sky.  We captured a few portraits of their beautiful family before heading out to explore the resort together.  As the sun began to set, we made our way back to the beach for golden hour photos along the shore.  The entire session was a complete dream, and we are incredibly grateful to have been able to document such a special milestone!
