From the moment we arrived at the Tampa Marriott Water Street hotel, we were beyond excited to capture Katie and Dakota’s wedding.  Their day was beautifully coordinated by Bloom & Grow Events, and every detail was simply stunning!  The ladies had just finished up hair and makeup with D2+Co, and we took a few photos in their matching robes before Katie put on her Pronovias gown from Truly Forever Bridal.  She shared sweet first looks with family before we headed outdoors to meet her groom.  

These two are such a beautiful couple, and we had the best time exploring for portraits before traveling to the Florida Rustic Barn.  Upon arrival, we captured portraits throughout the grounds before guests gathered for the ceremony.  Not even the rain could have put a damper on Katie and Dakota’s love story as they exchanged vows before their family and friends.  Photographing their breathtaking ceremony surrounded by a cove of majestic trees covered in Spanish moss was absolutely incredible!

Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed drinks from The Tipsy Trotter, dinner by Elite Events Catering, and desserts from Petite Madelyn’s Bakery.  The reception space looked amazing with florals by Florida Rustic Barn Weddings, and decor by Oak & Ash Events and Pialisa.  Celebrations of Tampa Bay announced the speeches, and the evening came to a close with dancing to live music with Bay Kings Band.  Katie topped off the night with a surprise reveal in her mother’s wedding dress.  We can’t wait to see the emotions captured by Grovefilm on video!  Katie and Dakota, the kind words you have shared with us since your big day have truly meant the world to us!  We hope that your upcoming honeymoon to Portugal is absolutely magical, and we wish you nothing but the very best in the many years to come!
