Photographing portrait sessions on the beaches of sunny Southwest Florida has been a dream come true, and when it comes to locations, Lighthouse Beach on Sanibel Island is about as dreamy as it gets!  With palm trees stretching over white sand, and gorgeous views of the Gulf, we couldn’t be happier to be back photographing on the island after taking some time off for hurricane recovery.  As many times as we have visited, we are still discovering new and beautiful places to explore.  We always look forward to connecting with families here, and we were so excited to capture Meg’s family again at their sunset session on Sanibel!

We first met Meg a few years ago for a session on Fort Myers Beach, and when she reached out to book another session with her extended family, we couldn’t wait to connect with her again.  This group was absolutely amazing, and their session could not have been more breathtaking!  The gorgeous golden-hour light was ideal, and we loved everyone’s white and khaki color scheme.  The kids had a blast running along the water’s edge splashing through the waves, and documenting their friendships was so much fun!  

Vacations with relatives provide some of the sweetest memories, and there is nothing better than spending time with cousins and grandparents in Florida. Time flies so quickly, and we know how special it is to spend time with the people we love.  Capturing those memories has truly been a joy!  Documenting seasons like these is such a privilege, and we hope that these images are some that Meg’s family will look back on for years to come.  It has been an honor working with so many incredible people from all over the U.S., and we are beyond grateful to be serving them in Southwest Florida!
