It is always fun to celebrate with fellow Minnesotans as they escape the cold winter weather to spend some time on the sunny shores of Southwest Florida!  We first connected with Laura when she attended a wedding we photographed back in Minnesota, and we were thrilled when she reached out last fall to book a family portrait session on the beach!  She and her family were planning to stay at one of our all-time favorites: the Naples Bay Resort and Marina.  We photographed a wedding there nine years ago, which was when our love of Southwest Florida first began.  At the time, we could have never imagined spending our winter and spring seasons capturing weddings, engagements, and portrait sessions on these beaches.  It has truly been a dream come true!

Laura’s family arrived at Naples Beach on a gorgeous sunny evening, and we could not have been more grateful for the warm sunshine and perfect golden-hour light. We started out their session in the streets before walking to the beach alongside the Pier.  The girls loved running along the sand, and capturing Laura’s daughter along with her sweet little cousins was such a joy!  Their precious smiles as they watched the waves and played in the sand were so much fun to photograph, and we are beyond excited for Laura and her husband as they anticipate welcoming another baby girl to the family!  

These short but sweet seasons of life are always such an honor to capture, and we absolutely love documenting memories with grandparents!  We finished out the session as the sun disappeared over the horizon, and chatted about their family’s dinner plans.  There is certainly no shortage of amazing restaurants in the area, and we hope that dinner was the perfect way to celebrate a wonderful time of vacationing together!
