The first time we visited Cape Coral, Florida we completely fell in love! We had stayed at the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village and had no idea that five years later we would be back photographing weddings and portrait sessions surrounded by its stunning palm trees and serene marina. When we learned that Emily and Luke were vacationing in Cape Coral, and were hoping for a engagement photos that incorporated their love for boats, as well as the beach, we knew the perfect locations for their session!
We met on an absolutely breathtaking evening, and set off to explore together for portraits. Golden hour was nothing short of perfection, and we could hardly contain our excitement to be back photographing sessions in Southwest Florida! After a few photos along the docks, we travelled to the Yacht Club Beach to finish out their session in the sand. The sun was just setting over the horizon as we arrived, giving us a gorgeous pink and golden glow. Emily and Luke completely rocked their session, and had a blast as they ran laughing together along the water’s edge. One of our favorite things about this location for portrait sessions is its palm trees right on the beach that make for the most epic silhouette photos. It was the perfect way to end an incredible session!
From the moment Emily and Luke reached out to book their wedding day, they have been incredibly kind! Their response when we shared their engagement session images completely made our day! “EEEK! Thank you thank you!!! We LOVE these photos. We looked through them all over dinner last night and could not be happier with them!” We are beyond excited to continue capturing their love story and are already counting down the days until their wedding at the Hutton House this summer!
