When we first met Dana and Erik this past summer for their downtown Anoka engagement session, we knew their winter wedding would be absolutely amazing. We had the best time with these two and could not think of a more beautiful way to close out our 2023 wedding season! Their big day began in the L’etoile Suite at the Saint Paul Hotel where the ladies had spent the morning preparing with Makeup by Mindie and She Fancy Salon on hair. We captured a few photos in their matching pjs before Dana’s mom and sisters helped her into her stunning Wtoo by Watters bow dress from The Wedding Shoppe.
After capturing a few bridal portraits, we headed to Grace Lutheran Church for portraits of Erik and his groomsmen in their Men’s Wearhouse suits. The bridesmaids joined us for photos and looked gorgeous in their gold sequin Revelry gowns with breathtaking calla lily bouquets by Tara of Elegance by Design Floral. We finished up with photos just before family and friends began to arrive.
Following a beautiful candlelit ceremony, complete with music by the Lake Minnetonka String Quartet, everyone travelled to the Como Park Zoo and Conservatory with Total Transportation. We photographed the wedding party and families in the Sunken Garden and throughout the Conservatory before joining guests for cocktail hour. We loved how festive the gardens looked with the abundance of red poinsettias! Everyone gathered in the Covered Porch for dinner by Lancer Catering and cake by Dorothy Ann Bakery, and the night came to a close with dancing hosted by Bellagala. Dana and Erik we hope that your mini moon in Las Vegas is amazing, and we wish you all the best in the many years to come! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your wedding!
