As our portrait session season comes to a close here in the north, we can’t help but reflect on what an incredible year it’s been.  Photographing sessions in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, surrounded by gorgeous fall foliage and epic natural backdrops has been so much fun, and we are truly grateful for each of our couples and families!  Having the opportunity to serve people we have known for years, along with those we are just getting to meet, makes what we do an absolute joy!  

When Caleb’s mom reached out to book his senior portraits along with family photos, we were so excited to connect!  We have known this beautiful family for a few years now, and couldn’t wait to meet in Osceola, WI for their session.  As we continue to explore our area, we are always up for the adventure of seeing new places.  We had first learned of Osceola when a friend recommended The Watershed Cafe, and after going there this past summer for a lunch date, we completely fell in love.  Situated in the St. Croix River Valley, and just up the hill from the town’s beloved waterfall, this cafe is just one of many sweet spots to visit in Osceola.  With its small-town charm, and abundance of trails for hiking, this location also boasts some absolutely breathtaking backdrops for portraits!

We met Caleb’s family on a beautiful fall afternoon and set off to explore together.  We captured a few photos down by the waterfall, before returning to the streets for portraits along the shops.  This family is so much fun, and they did an amazing job for their session!  We know that winter is just around the corner, and we were so thankful to have been able to capture their photos as we wrap up our fall season!
