Meeting our couple’s family and friends at weddings is always so much fun!  We have the best time celebrating together, and are incredibly honored when we hear from them again when it’s their turn to tie the knot!  We first met Kelsey on her sister’s big day, and we were so excited when she reached out to book her own wedding.  She and Andrew are absolutely perfect for each other, and we couldn’t wait to capture their fall engagement session in Taylors Falls.

Kelsey had just returned from a trip to Fort Myers and Bonita Springs, Florida when we met for their session in the St. Croix Valley.  The temps in Minnesota were certainly a bit cooler, but we couldn’t have had a more beautiful fall evening for portraits!  Golden hour was absolute perfection as we started out in the hills and fields.  These two are so much fun, and we have loved getting to know them!  They love spending time together, whether it be inside playing cribbage, or outdoors with their dogs.  Their pups joined us for a few photos, and both did such a great job!  

After finishing up in the nearby woods, we headed over to Taylors Falls for portraits among the rock cliffs alongside the St. Croix River.  We had a great time chatting about the Minnesota Twins and Vikings as we explored, and learned that Andrew is a writer and an aspiring author.  We finished out their session as the sun set down in the valley, and can’t wait to connect again to photograph their wedding next spring!  They will host their big day at one of our favorite venues: the Redeemed Farm.  Nestled in the rolling hills of Scandia, the beauty of its vineyards and chic white barn will be the perfect setting for these two to say “I Do!”
