From the moment Hailey and Doug reached out to book their wedding, they have been incredibly kind!  We couldn’t wait to connect with them for their engagement session, and Como Park in St. Paul was the perfect setting for photos on yet another beautiful fall evening.  Not only does this location boast gorgeous backdrops at every turn, but in this summer-meets-autumn weather, we were able to capture both the flowers surrounding the pond, as well as the rich, vibrant fall colors!  We set off to explore the grounds together, pausing for portraits at all of our favorite spots.

These two looked amazing in their bold and natural colors, and totally rocked their session!  They had met online, and Doug popped the question on the most romantic day of the year: Valentine’s Day.  They are so fun together, and their love for each other completely shined throughout the evening.  The way they interacted was so sweet, and it was so much fun to capture how easily Doug could make Hailey laugh.  Without a doubt, they are absolutely perfect for each other!  We had the best time chatting as we walked, and we discovered that they share our love for one of our favorite restaurants: Mallards.  We agreed that you can’t really go wrong with anything on their menu.

It has been so much fun getting to know these two, and we are so happy for them as they plan their dream wedding!  Their day will take place at the beautiful Legacy Hill Farm.  Set in the rolling hills of Welch, with its French industrial design, chic bright spaces, and its breathtaking grounds, we have no doubt it will be the perfect location to host their big day.  We are beyond excited to connect again to celebrate with their family and friends next spring!
