Meghna and Amit are the sweetest couple ever, and we could not wait to be a part of their beautiful wedding weekend!  From the moment we met at their engagement session in Taylors Falls, these two have been so kind!  We’ve loved getting to know them as they’ve planned their dream wedding with Rachelle of Style Architects.  The first day of their celebration began with their Haldi ceremony.  Capturing the excitement of Meghna and Amit’s family and friends who had gathered to bless them was such a joy!  Meghna’s bridal mehndi followed the ceremony, and we photographed the incredible process at the beginning and near the end.

The following day, Meghna and Amit’s Sangeet took place at the Harriet Island Pavilion in St. Paul.  The space looked gorgeous, with decor and details from Apres Event Decor.  Florals were provided by the talented Studio C Floral, and it was so much fun documenting the beauty of the day alongside Summit Hill Studios.  Family and friends arrived with Minnesota Coaches, and St. Paul’s city skyline was the perfect backdrop for group photos.  Following portraits, everyone gathered indoors where mehndi artists provided henna as guests mingled.  Meghna and Amit stepped outside for a few portraits in the golden hour light, and both looked amazing in their outfits!  It was such an honor to capture the love these two have for each other!

We headed indoors for dinner from Aroma Indian Cuisine followed by Amit’s family’s Punjabi dholak entrance.  Meghna’s cousins announced performances on stage, and family and friends performed dances, speeches, and musical numbers.  The evening came to a close with an incredible choreographed group dance!  The night couldn’t have been more perfect, and we were beyond excited to continue photographing Meghna and Amit’s breathtaking celebration at The Lowlands in St. Paul!
