With breathtaking views of the city, and endless places to eat, shop, and experience, the North Loop in Minneapolis is one of the trendiest neighborhoods in the Twin Cities.  Not only is it a hub for iconic places to see and things to do, but it is also the perfect location for couples looking for an urban setting for their engagement photos.  We might be a bit bias, but we think Minneapolis has one of the most beautiful skylines in the U.S., and we ended up with a stunning evening for Erica and Adam’s summer engagement session.  As the sunshine and blue skies faded into a gorgeous golden hour glow, we had the best time strolling through the streets together.  

Erica and Adam love the city and this setting could not have been more ideal for their engagement photos.  They both looked absolutely amazing, and their outfits worked perfectly with every single backdrop!  After starting out with portraits on the rooftop, we set off to explore the neighborhood together.  Incorporating pieces of our couple’s stories into their session is always so much fun, and it has been such a joy to get to know these two!  

They love spending time exploring the city – especially on bikes, and take full advantage of the area’s most popular restaurants, including the Red Cow. Their very first date took place in the North Loop, and it’s no surprise that they will host their wedding just a few minutes away.  These two are a perfect match, and we are beyond excited to photograph their big day!  They will host their family and friends at Urban Daisy Events, and we can’t wait to continue capturing their love story!  Style Architects is working with them to create their dream day, and we know it will be absolutely incredible!
