It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly a year since we spent the morning with Brittany and Alex in Stillwater for their sunrise engagement session.  We had the best time together that day, and were beyond excited to continue capturing their love story at their beautiful summer wedding.  The two hosted their family and friends at Celebrations on the River in La Crosse, Wisconsin, and the day could not have been more perfect!

The morning began as the ladies prepared with Hair Dressed by Kristyn and Natural Elements Beauty and Wellness.  We documented the details including the invitations from Minted and Brittany’s ring from Kay Jewelers, before capturing a few photos of the girls in their matching pjs.  Brittany put on her stunning Stella York dress from Bon Bon Belle Bridal Boutique, and walked to the ceremony site where Alex was waiting to see his beautiful bride.  After their sweet first look, we explored the grounds for portraits before the wedding party and families joined us for photos.  Everyone looked amazing in their Azazie bridesmaid dresses and their suits by JF J. Ferrar, and we finished up just before guests arrived.

Following a breathtaking ceremony alongside the river, guests mingled throughout social hour.  We gathered in the Center Court where everyone enjoyed dinner, speeches, and desserts from The Pearl Ice Cream Parlor.  The evening’s sunset was absolutely gorgeous, and we stepped outside for some golden hour portraits before returning for first dances.  The night came to a close with dancing hosted by Elite Entertainment of Dubuque.  Brittany and Alex, your day was truly incredible, and we are so honored to have been a part of capturing so many sweet memories!  We hope you are enjoying your honeymoon out West, and we wish you all the very best on your newest adventure as newlyweds!
