One of our favorite things about photographing weddings is connecting with our couple’s friends and families as we document their day filled with endless fun and celebration.  Capturing so many sweet moments and creating memories for them all is truly such a joy!  When couples who are a part of those events reach out when planning their own weddings, we are always incredibly honored!  We first met Samantha while photographing her sister’s wedding a few years ago, and we were thrilled to hear that she and Tyler were working around our availability as they chose their date.  We were so excited when they booked their big day, and could not wait to connect with them for their spring engagement session.

These two are a match made in heaven, and both love spending time together in the great outdoors.  They knew they wanted a natural setting for their engagement photos, and William O’Brien State Park was the perfect location for their spring session.  We had the best time capturing portraits in the field, and chatting as the sun began to set over the valley.  Samantha and Tyler met in college, fell in love, and got engaged this past fall.  After a last-minute change in travel plans, Tyler proposed to Samantha at Grandview Lodge in front of the little chapel. We absolutely love romantic proposal stories, and getting to know our couples as they plan their weddings is always so much fun!

Samantha and Tyler are such a beautiful couples, and we cannot wait until their wedding next year!  Their dream day will take place at the beautiful Abella Weddings & Events in Chisago City, and the venue’s gorgeous setting with its historic barn will be the perfect place to host their family and friends.  We are beyond excited to continue documenting their love story next summer!
