We are officially back up north, and could not be more excited for all of our engagement sessions and weddings ahead!  Bri and Grant’s beautiful spring session was the perfect way to kick off our Minnesota season, and we can’t get enough of the colors that have popped around the city.  The blooms of the trees are just another reminder of why this is one of our favorite times of year for sessions.  There is something about spring blossoms that seem to bring the perfect touch of light and airy color to the photos.  

Bri and Grant are an absolutely stunning couple, and the beauty of the season was just an accent to their already gorgeous smiles!  We always love it when our couples bring a few outfits along for their sessions, and Bri and Grant’s pastel and natural colors were ideal for the setting.  These two are so sweet together, and we had the best time capturing portraits!  We began the session with brick backdrops near Machine Shop before discovering a nearby flowering tree.  There were also tulips in bloom on St. Anthony Main that we found while walking down to capture photos with the iconic Minneapolis skyline along the river.

It was so much fun getting to know these two as we explored the city together!  They met online and both went to school at St. Thomas.  We found out that Grant proposed to Bri on Anna Maria Island in Southwest Florida, and we can’t think of a more romantic place to get engaged!  The two began planning their dream wedding, and we can hardly wait to celebrate with them alongside their family and friends.  They will host their big day at Blacksmith Main this coming fall, and we are already counting down the days until we photograph their wedding!
