Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island is truly something out of a photographer’s dream.  Its stunning setting could be described as absolute perfection when it comes to capturing family portrait sessions.  Emily’s family loves spending time together on the beaches of Southwest Florida, and we knew this little slice of paradise would be the ideal location for her family session at sunset.

We were beyond thrilled to be documenting another sweet season of life for Emily’s beautiful family!  We first met last year on Sanibel Island for their pizza party on Lighthouse Beach.  That session holds a very special place in all of our hearts as it captured the island in all its glory before being forever changed by the hurricane last fall.  The boys did such an amazing job for that session, and we couldn’t wait to connect with them this year.  Once again, they completely blew us away with their all-star smiles and sweet personalities, and both did a phenomenal job for their photos!  

We started out among the epic banyan trees and set off to explore together, stopping at all of the gorgeous architecture as we went.  Capturing portraits surrounded by so many breathtaking backdrops was a dream come true, and we finished up near the palm trees before heading out to the beach for photos along the shore.  Golden hour was absolutely incredible, and the boys had a blast running through the sand near a stranded sailboat along the water’s edge.  As we watched the sunlight disappear over the horizon, we could not have been more grateful to have the opportunity to capture such beautiful memories for so many amazing families.  Emily’s session was the perfect way to close out our portrait session season in Florida, and we can’t wait to be back photographing many more couples and families in the sunshine state next year!
