We were beyond thrilled to return to Naples Bay Resort to photograph Meredith and Ben’s destination engagement session!  This incredible resort was the venue for our first SW Florida destination wedding, and we couldn’t wait to be back capturing its beautiful grounds with Meredith and Ben.  We can’t think of a more stunning setting to celebrate the exciting season of being engaged!

These two have the sweetest story, and it has been such a joy getting to know them!  They met in Virginia when they were 16 years old, and kept in touch as long-distance friends while attending different colleges in different cities.  Meredith travelled from Boston to visit Ben in Texas, and sparks began to fly over the weekend.  They began dating, and love spending time running, traveling, and having fun together.  Ben proposed in January, and of course Meredith said yes!  The two had planned a trip to Naples to soak up some sunshine in Southwest Florida.  Meredith has many fond memories of growing up visiting Naples and exploring the docks and marinas with her father, and knew she wanted to incorporate boats into their engagement photos.  Naples Bay Resort was the perfect place for their session, and we were so honored to capture such an exciting piece of their love story!

We met for their session on a gorgeous spring morning, and the lighting at sunrise was simply magical.  We began exploring the grounds together, stopping for portraits at every breathtaking backdrop.  All was quiet in the early morning hours, and it was as if we had the entire resort all to ourselves, creating an ideal, serene setting for engagement photos.  We chatted about how wedding planning has been going so far, and we are beyond excited for them as they continue to plan their dream wedding day!
