As beaches continue to open up along Southwest Florida’s coastline, we have been loving the variety of backdrops they provide for our portrait sessions! Lowdermilk Park in Naples is fully operational again following Hurricane Ian’s landfall six months ago. We are amazed at all of the work that has been done to restore the coast to its former glory, and we could not be more grateful for those who continue to serve. Countless hours of work have been invested in bringing these beaches back, and we are incredibly thankful to have so many beautiful places to photograph families as they return to vacation down in the sunshine state!
When Marissa reached out to book a family session on the beach, we were blown away by her kind words! She is a photographer herself, and we were so honored to be entrusted to capture her family’s photos. Her excitement and enthusiasm for her session were yet another reminder of why we love what we do. Getting to photograph and connect with families who share our love of spending time soaking up Florida’s warm, springtime weather together has been so much fun!
We met for Marissa’s session near the tiki huts scattered along the palms. Despite the spring break crowds, we were able to snag a hut for our very own just before the session began! We chatted as we walked, stopping to take portraits as we went, and we finished up shortly after the sun had set. Marissa and her husband have the cutest little boys, and it was so much fun capturing their personalities as they laughed and played in the sand and along the water’s edge. We hope that they look back on these memories of this short-but-sweet season of life with joy for many years to come!
