It seems like just yesterday that we met Alexa and Derrek for their engagement session in Naples.  We had the best time together that evening, and could not wait for their wedding!  Their big day at the incredible Oxford Exchange in Tampa, Florida finally arrived and it couldn’t have been more breathtaking!  Carolina and her team were wonderful to work with, and Kelsey of Bloom and Grow Events did a phenomenal job of coordinating the day!

The morning began at an Airbnb where the ladies completed hair and makeup with Lasting Luxe Artistry.  We photographed details including Alexa’s gorgeous rings by J.R. Dunn Jewelers.  Her mom helped her into her stunning Pronovias gown from East Coast Bridals, and she exchanged a sweet first look with her father before heading to Oxford Exchange with Alpha Transportation.  We met up with Derrek for their beautiful first look followed by portraits at the University of Tampa. The wedding party and families joined us and looked amazing in their tuxedos with bowties, and their classy black gowns with bouquets by FLORA Fine Flowers & Events.  The sun began to set, and we captured a few golden hour photos before heading in for the ceremony.

Alexa and Derrek tied the knot before family and friends, and celebrated with a toast to kick off social hour.  The two made their grand entrance, and started the reception with first dances.  We are so excited to see the fun documented by the talented Cornerstone Creative on video!  Guests enjoyed dinner, cake, and speeches on the iconic staircase.  Curate Entertainment hosted an amazing dance party with live music, and Alexa and Derrek enjoyed a private last dance before exiting through through their cheering guests.  They departed in a classic Rolls-Royce as they set off on their happily ever after, and we are incredibly grateful to have been a part of capturing their dream day!
