The season of being engaged is always so much fun to document! Wedding plans are in the works, and the anticipation of celebrating your big day alongside your closest family and friends is such an exciting season! We are so happy for Katie and Kyle as they plan their dream day, and couldn’t wait to connect with them for their fall engagement session. Kyle proposed to Katie in the mountains of the incredibly beautiful Glacier National Park this past winter. These two love spending time in the great outdoors, and Taylors Falls at sunrise was the perfect setting to incorporate the beauty of the rock cliffs of the St. Croix Valley into their engagement photos.
Katie and Kyle are the sweetest couple, and both looked amazing with their warm and vibrant fall colors. Katie’s red cocktail dress and heels were stunning, and their green, khaki, and orange colors coordinated perfectly with the setting and the season! We love that Minnesota’s leaves have begun to change, and found some gorgeous spots for photos throughout their session. We walked along the St. Croix River to start, and then explored the valley and hills within the forest to finish.
These two totally rocked their session, and there was no shortage of laughter and smiles throughout! We love getting to know our couples before their wedding day. It is so important to us that they feel comfortable in front of the camera so that when their big day finally arrives, they feel confident, and get to be present and enjoy the moment! We are already counting down the days until Katie and Kyle tie the knot next fall. They will host their family and friends at the Bunker Hills Event Center in Andover, and we have no doubt their day will be absolutely amazing!
