It is always such a privilege to capture engagement photos for so many amazing couples!  From the moment Allison and Scott reached out to book their wedding, they have been incredibly kind. When couples check our availability before choosing their wedding date, we are always so honored! Getting to know these two has been so much fun!  We actually first met Allison’s sister in Florida for a session this past spring, and we couldn’t wait to connect with Allison and Scott for their fall engagement session!

We met at Bde Maka Ska Park in Minneapolis on a beautiful evening, and these two looked incredible!  Their black suit and elegant green dress were absolutely stunning, and their blue and white neutral colors worked perfectly with the setting’s nautical vibe.  We had such a great time exploring the park together, and captured a few photos with their spunky golden retriever as well as a champagne toast at the end of their session.

Allison and Scott are so sweet, and we loved incorporating a piece of their story into their engagement photos!  Like many couples who met in 2020, they spent countless hours going for walks together and soaking up the beauty of Minnesota’s great outdoors.  They love lake life, and their first date took place at Bde Maka Ska!  They hit things off right away, talking for hours as they walked, and knew from the start that they had found “the one!”  That December, while on a walk in Carver Park, Scott got down on one knee and asked Allison to be his wife!  She said YES, and we are so excited to photograph their big day!  The two will host their family and friends at Rush Creek Golf Club in Maple Grove, and we can’t wait to celebrate with them next spring!
