Brittany and Alex are the sweetest couple ever, and drove all the way from Wisconsin, through the early morning hours, to make it to the marina for their sunrise engagement session!  We had the best time together exploring this little slice of paradise among the boats in Stillwater, and the morning could not have been more beautiful for their session.  Brittany and Alex looked absolutely amazing, and their outfits were perfect for the setting.  From their formal attire, with Alex’s suit and Brittany’s gorgeous cocktail dress, to her white dress with its nautical vibe, every single element was simply stunning.

These two are incredibly kind, and shared the most genuine encouragement after their session.  It was their first time taking professional portraits together, and it was such an honor to hear how much they enjoyed their experience!  We have found that engagement sessions not only allow our couples to document this season of life within a breathtaking setting, but also allow them to get to know our shooting style before their wedding day.  It is always our highest priority that couples feel comfortable in front of the camera, and engagement sessions are one of the best ways to prepare for relaxed, romantic, and joy-filled wedding photos.

Engagement sessions are also the perfect way for us to get to know our couples. They provide a fun, low-pressure photography experience without the fast pace of a wedding day, and also allow for a one-on-one connection that lets us document couples as they interact in a quieter setting.  Getting to know Brittany and Alex has been such a joy, and we are incredibly excited for their wedding at Celebrations on the River in La Crosse, WI!  We have no doubt their day will be a dream, and cannot wait to connect again next summer!
