We first connected with Krissy and Paul through their wedding coordinator who reached out to see if we were available for their date. They are working with the talented Sarah Trotter of Lasting Impressions Weddings to create their dream day, and we were beyond excited to chat with them to hear all about their plans! These two are so much fun, and we could not wait to meet for their summer engagement session on St. Anthony Main.
Krissy and Paul knew they wanted to feature the Mississippi River as well as the urban setting of the city into their session, and we knew the area surrounding the Machine Shop in Minneapolis would be perfect! We met on an absolutely beautiful evening, and these two looked amazing! Krissy’s dresses were gorgeous, and the way they looked in the golden hour light was breathtaking! Her outfits, along with Paul’s shades of blue and khaki, coordinated perfectly with the colors of the city. One of our goals in sessions is to find ideal backdrops for each outfit. Their colors and textures, along with the soft, gold light made this session simply stunning!
We had such a great time getting to know each other as we strolled the streets together. Krissy and Paul are getting married next year at The Depot Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, and we can hardly wait! We know their wedding will be absolute perfection! With their wedding day featuring epic views of both the city skyline and the Stone Arch Bridge, we loved being able to incorporate the area into their engagement photos as well. These two are such a sweet couple, and we can’t wait to celebrate their big day alongside their family and friends next summer. We are already counting down the days – just under a year to go!
