From the moment we connected with Lexi and Jimmy, we couldn’t wait for their engagement session.  Not only are these two the sweetest couple ever, but they are seriously so much fun together!  We met on a gorgeous summer evening at Bde Maka Ska Park, and began along the beach and docks surrounded by sailboats.  Jimmy had surprised Lexi by proposing on a dock by a lake, and we loved using a similar setting for their session!  Both looked absolutely amazing in their classy black formal attire, as well as their white and light blue colors for their nautical vibe.  We had the best time getting to know each other as we walked along the lake.   

These two have the sweetest love story, and we are completely in love with the way they incorporated it into their engagement session.  Lexi first met Jimmy because he lived in the apartment above hers and sprayed silly string all over her balcony!  Naturally, silly string was the perfect way to end the night!  Rocking their MSU Mankato sweatshirts, the two began an epic silly string battle, and we had a blast laughing the evening away!

We truly serve the most amazing couples in the world, and were blown away by Lexi’s kind words when we shared her sneak peek images: “Thank you so much!! I am in love with these sneak peeks!!! I have heard so many great things about you, but tonight exceeded my expectations!!! You are AMAZING – I can’t wait to see the rest, and for you to photograph our special day. Thank you times a million!!!!”  To say that we are excited for their wedding next summer is an understatement.  We have no doubt their big day at the beautiful Chankaska Creek Winery in Kasota, MN will be absolutely incredible!
